Ready Made Glaire
This product has been introduced for our customers who prefer an alternative to the Albumen Crystals. The aqueous shellac solution is based on a traditional formula first used in the early 20th Century. As there is no preparation involved, the Glaire can be used straight from the bottle. It is extremely easy to use and has the advantage of a long shelf-life. We manufacture Ready Made Glaire in our Livingston Factory.
Available in:
- 150ml bottle
- 500ml bottle
- 5 litre bottle
Instructions:
The glaire is simple to use and will give good results on our aniline and casein finished leathers.
- Apply the glaire to the leather and allow to dry. - A second coat can be applied for better adhesion. Allow to dry.
- The tooling should be undertaken within a few days of the application of the glaire.
